SUMMARY:50th Ward Back to School Giveaway
DESCRIPTION:Help your kids start the school year off on the right foot! Come to the 50th Ward Back to School Giveaway for free backpacks and school supplies. We will be meeting at the Indian Boundary Park Nature Play Center in the northwest section of the park\, near Estes and Rockwell. Backpacks will be distributed one per child on a first-come\, first-served basis. Backpacks will ONLY be distributed to children\, so make sure your child is present. \nNEW THIS YEAR: We will be hosting a Touch-A-Truck\, in partnership with State Senator Ram Villivalam and State Representative Kevin Olickal. After you get your backpack\, let your kids explore a real Chicago ambulance and fire truck. Please note: All CFD vehicles are in-service and could get called away for emergency calls.
