There will be a virtual public meeting on Monday, January 13, 2025, at 6:00 PM to discuss a proposed zoning change at 6659 N Kedzie Ave.
The applicant is seeking to rezone the 3.3-acre site generally located at 6659 North Kedzie from the existing M1-1 Limited Manufacturing/Business Park District to the RM-5 Residential Multi-Unit District and then to an Institutional Residential Planned Development to redevelop the site for residential and institutional purposes. The Developer proposes to construct 33 townhomes, with 109 parking spaces and 12 bicycle parking spaces, and to preserve an existing masonry building on the site to be repurposed for religious assembly use. The development will include landscaping including private yards and shared outdoor greenspace.
